The Cirrus 620: nüCamp’s Half-Ton Truck Camper
The Cirrus 620: nüCamp’s Half-Ton Truck Camper A few years ago nüCamp RV made their first attempt at a half-ton truck camper with the release of their Cirrus 670 prototype at the 2019 Florida RV Supershow. The 670 ended up being a little heavy for most half-ton trucks on the market. So, nüCamp went back to the drawing board and released its new-and-improved half-ton truck camper—the Cirrus 620! This truck camper weighs in at 1491 pounds making it lightweight enough for a dece

What to expect when you’re expecting… a new RV!
I am often asked by first-time RV buyers: what else do I need to buy with my camper? This is a GREAT question! I remember how surprised I was in 2015 when I bought my first teardrop, I was floored at all the additional expenses that I didn’t expect. So while there are tons of cool gadgets for camping, start with this short list of necessities to make your first outing a successful one. Check out the video, and then find our Amazon links below. A Day in the Life #3: Weekend Warrior Edition!
This is now the third installment of our “Day in the Life” series, where we film everything we do all day so that we can bring you with us! It’s had a surprisingly positive response – which no doubt has to do with our current pandemic and the associated “cabin fever” that has come along with it. I have to be honest, these videos are not worth my time – monetarily speaking, that is. The hours I put into filming and editing in comparison to income… well, let’s just say it’s a l

Rodent Proof your RV
Evicting mice from Little Bear! Sometimes you assume that just because you’ve gone some place tons of times before without anything bad happening that you’ll get the same outcome the next time you go there. Well, that’s what we thought as we headed out to one of our favorite boondocking spots in Colorado. After about two weeks of being in our spot we woke one night to something most RV’ers probably dread—a mouse in the camper! Watch the video, then find links below The mouse

Improve Your Towing: Helper Springs & Sway Control
Take five minutes to watch the video of how we improved our towing handling, and then read below to find out more! Improve Your Towing When we moved into our nüCamp T@B 400 camper and 2019 Toyota Tacoma we couldn’t be happier. But we soon realized that our truck would need a few improvements to handle the extra weight of the larger camper. Mainly, we needed something to help reduce the amount of squatting we were seeing in the back end of the truck when we hitched up the camp

The Best Bits: 2019
For each of the last 5 years I have compiled a video summarizing the best parts of my year. While there are both ups and downs to life, I am the ever optimist and these are the memories I want to remember. Usually, I get this video out by January, but I’ve been busy this year. However, with everything that is going with this coronavirus pandemic right now, perhaps this is the perfect time to release the video. Even if you don’t watch the entire thing, let it play and enjoy th

Winterizing your T@B 400!
Winterize your T@B 400 in 10 easy steps! Watch the how-to video Our lifestyle tends to take us from one extreme to another in a short amount of time. It seems like just yesterday we were sweltering in mid-90’s down in Texas with our T@B 400 air conditioner running full-blast, but now we’re freezing in Flagstaff, Arizona where the temperatures our first few days were single digits. Now, here we are haphazardly trying to figure out how to winterize our T@B 400 for the first tim

5 RV Memberships & Clubs Compared
If there’s one thing I’ve learned working in the RV industry, it’s that the term “camping” can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people! And that also means that there is a different solution for everyone when it comes to finding a place to rest your head (and your wheels) for the night. While Kendrick and I prefer to find remote locations that are a bit more “off the grid”, always with no reservations, we know that this is definitely NOT the style that mos

5 Safety Items for your RV
We recently attended the world’s largest RV show, the Hershey RV Show. We were there representing our favorite company, nüCamp RV. We used our free time to look around the show for ourselves. (while sporting our awesome nüCamp shirts, and Mandy in her camper leggings!) While we weren’t interested in any other campers (because we love our T@B!), we did realize there were a lot of great RV accessory companies in attendance. One thing we rarely think about is spending money on s

A Full-timer’s Tour of the T@B 400
We have officially been Livin’ in Little Bear for nearly 4 months now! We’ve been asked by several folks to do a video tour of our home. The truth is, it took us a few months to get settled in and customize him a bit… and quite frankly, to have anything interesting to show you! We’ve finally put together a tour – but this one is a little different. I have already done a factory tour of the T@B 400, so this time we focused on the living aspect: where we keep things and why.
