NEXT DATE TBD
Rocky Mountain National Park, COMandy Lea Photo is an authorized permittee of the National Park Service.
Come experience the beautiful snowcapped peaks and magnificent winter scenery of Rocky Mountain National Park without the crowds that summer brings. Join photographers Mandy Lea and Kendrick Callaway in their home state of Colorado for four unforgettable days of shooting spectacular winter landscapes!
We’ll photograph sunrises and sunsets, frozen alpine lakes, big mountains, and do a snowshoe tour! If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll even see the local elk herd! Our host location of Estes Park will provide us with countless photo opportunities as well as great restaurants to have group meals together.
Throughout the workshop there will be plenty of opportunities in the field to photograph the unique winter landscapes and towering, snowcapped peaks. In addition, the limited class size allows students to receive personalized photography and editing instruction from Mandy and Kendrick. We’ll have a mid-workshop editing session to provide our thoughts on ways to improve image composition as well as unique photo editing tips. Lastly, a final day image review session with instructors and other students will give interesting insight into how different people photograph the same locations as well as instructor critiques of your favorite images.
Workshop Size Limit: 8
Note: The group size is being limited to eight participants to ensure each student gets plenty of one-on-one instruction in the field. Minimum class size must be met or workshop might be cancelled.
