Day 13 Watch the Day 13 Episode now! After a long day shivering in the frigid winds at 14,000 feet on Day #12 we were ready for another recovery day. So, for Day #13 we planned on moving camp from Leadville down to Poncha Springs. Along the way we’d do lost of touristy things and meet up with some great friends. To start off our busy day, we visited one of the highlights of the Leadville area and our 12th water feature—Turquoise Lake. This lake has great views of nearby 14ers
Day 12 Watch the Day 12 Episode After a nice-and-easy day we were ready to hit the ground running—well, hiking—on Day #12! With another early morning wakeup we found ourselves at the Missouri Gulch trailhead before 4am and the parking lot was already full! Luckily, we didn’t have to park too far down the road. We began hiking in the dark, which made the ascent up to treeline pass by quickly. These early morning starts are great for seeing alpenglow lighting up all the huge pe
Watch the Day 10 Video! After a relatively relaxing travel day accompanied by perhaps a bit too much bourbon and beer, we woke up early to tackle our most ambitious hiking day yet—four 14ers! It may have seemed like we were completely neglecting the biggest part of our 14er project—hiking 14ers—but rest assured that it was all part of our plan! Our route for Day #10 is commonly referred to as “DeCaLiBron” and it ascend Mount Democrat, Mount Cameron, Mount Lincoln, and Mount B

How’s that? Well, it has a road that goes nearly all the way to the summit; leaving only a short hike to reach to tip top of the mountain.

Looking back at some of the footage you can definitely tell we’re starting to get a little tired. But believe it or not, we were still having fun. Maybe that’s why we decided to include Coffeeshops as one of the categories in our project? When exhaustion starts to set in it’s nothing a hot Americano and scone can’t take care of. Right? So we began our day
Today. Today is my day. The video I am releasing today is about the preparation for one of my long time goals, climbing the Grand Teton. But today is about so much more. Today I begin the climb up a mountain – a mountain which I first laid eyes upon two years ago. Basking in a fiery sunrise, it reminded me that happiness wasn’t lost, and changed my life forever. Okay, I know I am making this sound a bit dramatic. But the truth is that, for me – it is. While an admirable peak,
